Sailing from the yacht base on Poros Island, the Saronic one-week flotilla sails a northern route around the islands of the Saronic Gulf, exploring quaint villages like the near land locked harbour at Vathi situated in the shadow of an extinct volcano and the picturesque fishing port at Perdika which offers wonderful views and spectacular sunsets. Our second one week cruise is the Argolic route sailing south to the popular larger islands of Hydra and Spetses and the sleepy fishing harbours of Ermioni,Astros or Plaka.The East Peloponnese route is a dedicated two week cruise that explores the southern ports of the Eastern Peloponnese coast, visiting Monemvasia, Greece’s own mini Gibraltar and Leonidhion before venturing north into the Argolic Gulf to go ashore at Navplion to visit ancient Mycenae a city dating back to 1250 BC.

Travel: There are regular Saturday flights to Athens from London Heathrow and Gatwick. Other departure airports are available on request. Airport transfers can be arranged by road and fast ferry.

Poros – Arrival/Departure Two-week flotilla continues Independent sailing before rendezvous in Ermioni.
Your first week sails a similar itinerary to the Argolic Gulf Route before venturing further South to:
Sun
Vathi (22nm) - Pretty near landlocked harbour with a great village atmosphere.
Ermioni (23nm) - After dinner, stroll the scenic route around the pine-clad headland.
Leonidhion (Plaka) - Small harbour and beach. Take a taxi to visit the cliff top Monastery of Elonas.
Mon
Epidhavros (10.5nm) - Visit the ancient amphitheatre or simply relax and enjoy the beach.
Astros (17nm) - A traditional beach resort crowned by a ruined fortress - or Vivari.
Kiparissi (14nm) A picturesque fishing harbour with a gem of a swimming bay at Chapel Cove.

Korfos (11nm) - A picturesque harbour with choice of tavernas.
Navplion (22nm) - A chance to visit ancient Mycenae.
Monevasia (13nm) Visit the cliff top village and fortified church on this impressive Gibraltar style islet.

Aegina (17nm) - Explore this vibrant town, shop from colour fruit & veg boats or swim from the beach.
Plaka / Leonidhion (14nm) - Stroll up the hillside path to visit the ancient clifftop town.
Astrous (22nm) A pretty village with beach and medieval castle.

Perdika (4.5nm) - A delightful beach and great choice of sea front tavernas.
Dhokos Island or a bay near Porto heli (35nm) – Join us for a Beach Party.
Hydra (16nm) A wonderful artist town set like an anthe-theater around a busy harbour..

Qualifications: The Skipper must have RYA Day Skipper or an ICC.
