Running from the 21st January up to the end of March, the Thailand flotilla explores the Phang Na bay on the sheltered east coast of Phuket, from James Bond Island in the north to Koh Lanta in the south with the famous Phi Phi Islands between. The area offers some great sailing, amazing coastal scenery, fascinating local culture and delicious local cuisine. This is a 10 night flotilla which gives the opportunity for sail & stay combinations in Phuket, Bangkok and beyond. We offer a fleet of monohulls and catamarans as well cabin charter, sailing Thailand’s wonderful warm waters.

The Thailand flotilla season runs from January to the end of March. Temperatures range from the mid to high 20s . You can expect a little rain, however January to April are the driest months of the year. Sunshine is consistent, with an average of 8 hours per day. Sea temperature is high, thanks to the relatively shallow waters, with an average of 28 to 29 degrees centigrade. Prevailing winds are from the north, north west and are typically force 3-4, locally 5.
Flotila Sailing
An exclusive flotilla option for more experienced sailors. Explore the best of the northern parts of the Andaman Sea, visiting Ko Khao Phing Kan, the island made famous by the James Bond film “The man with the golden gun”. The route also visits other much photographed and filmed locations, so for movie buffs, there are some great sights to be seen, including the Phi Phi islands, the iconic image from the film “The Beach”. Thailand has so much to offer, and its welcoming people are keen for us to experience the culture and cuisine of this beautiful part of asia.
