EAST PELOPONNESE TWO WEEK FLOTILLA 2025
A popular choice in the high season is the East Peloponnese flotilla, a two week cruise that explores the southern ports of the Eastern Peloponnese coast. Participate in a combination of flotilla and independent sailing. Ideal for the more experienced crew. Still sailing in the company of others, the second week offers a great first taste into Bareboat charter with on hand support when you need it. A choice of ports to visit can include Monemvasia, Greeces own mini Gibraltar and Leonidion and further north into the Argolic Gulf, go ashore at Nafplion to visit ancient Mycenae a city dating back to 1250BC.

Itinerary
Saturday: Poros - Arrivals / Departures.
Sunday: Ermioni - Stroll the pine-wooded headland.
Monday: Astros - A short walk above the town to visit a ruined Venetian castle. There are numerous tavernas and bars and restaurants around the sandy bay and a few kilometres of beach.
Tuesday: Nafplion: The picturesque old town is a mixture of Venetian, Turkish and neo-classical buildings and a stroll through the narrow streets and open squares overhung with bougainvillea, clematis and jasmine is a delightful experience.
Wednesday: Koilhada - Anchor safely at this working fishing port, you can visit the Francithi cave which has been the source of numerous prehistoric remains including the skeleton of a stone-age inhabitant, believed to be the oldest human remains found in Greece.
Thursday: Dokhos - Stop for a swin & some snorkelling around this enchanting bay and explore the resting place of the oldest known shipwreck (1500 B.C.)
Friday: Independent Sailig: Suggestions: Plaka (Leonidhion)
Saturday: Independant Sailing Suggestion: Monemvasia - Greece’s own mini Gibraltar.
Sunday: Porto Heli – option to rendezvous with Lead Crew or continue independent sailing - Good place to stock up on provisioning.
Monday: Fokainos Bay - excellent swimming in clear water
Tuesday: Ormos Veris (Spetses) - Spetses is a beautiful historical island with traditional boatyards and the house of the Greek heroine of the War of Independence, Bouboulina.
Wednesday: Agios Nikolaos (Sampatiki) - A small peaceful harbour with few facilities, Taverna choice is limited, the food is simple and wholesome. Tables are laid out after sunset quite literally on the beach!
Thursday: Mandraki Hydra or Dhokos Island - Enjoy another Greek Island before heading back to base the next day
Friday: Poros - Back to base for a last night celebrating.

Flight inclusive packages are available through Sunscape with departures on Saturdays. A choice of flights to Athens airport is available. All Prices in our flotilla price tables are shown without flights.You may wish to purchase your own flights or you can request a flight-inclusive package from Sunscpape Yachting. All flight-inclusive holidays booked through Sunscape are fully bonded for your financial protection under our ATOL 6899. A flight booking admin charge of £50 per person is payable at the time of booking,

TRANSFER INFORMATION: We recommend taking an early flight from the UK on either the Friday or Saturday that arrive Athens by midday when transfer can be provided by road to Piraeus Harbour (Athens), then fast ferry to Poros Island and the Yacht Base. Later arriving flights can be organised by road via the Corinth bridge and Galatas for a short ferry to Poros Island and the Yacht Base. Transfer times by road and fast ferry are approximately 3 Hours, Transfers by road via the Corinth Canal Bridge take approximately 3 Hours 45 minutes. Transfer price per person from £110.

The Sunscape Yacht Security Indemnity Scheme is designed to act as a Collision Damage Waiver. It allows you to claim back any deductions from the Security Deposit lodged at the Yacht Base for damages incurred during your use of the charter yacht.
