Gallery
Daily sunshine is virtually guaranteed. The Ionian is similar to the Adriatic, enjoying predominately northerly winds of force 2-3 during the summer months. In the Sporades winds are mostly north-easterly, while the winds in the southern Aegean prevail from the north-west. During July and August the seasonal Meltemi raises the strength from 2-3 to 4-7, particularly in more open sea areas. The winds often curve and increase in speed between larger islands and the mainland, making for some interesting sailing.
Flotila Sailing
Our one and two week cruises provide a fantastic opportunity to discover the unspoilt natural beauty of the Greek isles. Sailing from the beautiful port of Poros, the Peloponnese flotilla explores the coastline of the Saronic and Argolic gulfs on the eastern side of the Peloponnese. Our second flotilla cruise, The Sporades Flotilla is set amongst the beautiful Sporades islands, laying off the eastern coast of mainland Greece and sailing east and west from the small town of Loutraki of Skopolos island. Other flotilla options include the Ionian Flotilla or Kefalonia Flotilla provide visitors with a truly rich cultural experience, setting sail either from Nikiana Harbour on Lefkas island or Kefalonia. And finally located at the edge of the South Eastern Aegean are Dodecanese Islands where the one and two week Dodecanese Flotilla sails north and southfrom Kos Island.
CORINTH AND SARONIC GULF FLOTILLA 2025
The flotilla returns to Corinth as the service of the Corinth Canal retruns to normal. One week let's you explore the gulf of Corinth, visiting Galaxidi and Trizonia amongst others, while the Poros route transits the iconic Corinth Canal, heading to Aegina, Poros and Epidavros in the Saronic Gulf.

The Kefalonia flotilla, offers a great way to explore the more southern islands of the Ionion. Starting from Aghia Eufimia on the West coast, ideally situated to explore Kefalonia. A one week flotilla sails a northern route taking in Ithaka and the harbours on southern Lefkas. A second week sees the flotilla cruising south exploring ports in the south, with stops on Zakynthos and possibly on the western Peloponnese penninsula.

EAST PELOPONNESE TWO WEEK FLOTILLA 2025
A popular choice in the high season is the East Peloponnese flotilla, a two week cruise that explores the southern ports of the Eastern Peloponnese coast. Participate in a combination of flotilla and independent sailing. Ideal for the more experienced crew. Still sailing in the company of others, the second week offers a great first taste into Bareboat charter with on hand support when you need it. A choice of ports to visit can include Monemvasia, Greeces own mini Gibraltar and Leonidion and further north into the Argolic Gulf, go ashore at Nafplion to visit ancient Mycenae a city dating back to 1250BC.

Bareboat Charter in Greece offers the widest choice of cruising destinations for independent sailing in any one country. From Poros explore the Saronic Gulf and Eastern Peloponnese coast, from Corfu the northern Ionian or from Lefkas the ever-so-popular southern Ionian islands. From Rhodes harbour sail the Dodecanese island chain or alternatively, charter a yacht from Skiathos and explore the Sporades with their spectacular white sandy beaches and hidden coves.
Learn to Sail
From our partners in Greece we offer RYA sailing courses in the Aegean sailing from Poros with The Poros Yachting Academy and in the Ionian with Seafarer Sailing School. Both schools are RYA recognised training centres offering a range of courses suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners through to Coastal skipper and Yachtmaster.
Sunscape offers two options for Learn to Sail: Live aboard a School Yacht, where you share the yacht with other candidates and provision for breafast and a light lunch each day is included. The second option is to take an Instructor for Own Yacht Tuition. You charter the yacht for your own group and accommodate an instructor onboard to provide courses for individuals within your group.
Live aboard a School Yacht Prices are Per person with Days 6 (7 Nights on board) for Shared accommodation on the Tuition Yacht.
Extras: A 50% supplement applies for single cabin occupancy on the training boat.
Instructor for Own Yacht Tuition Prices are for the instructor.
Extras: Instructor's food and own cabin,. Private tuition charges apply to when clients charter a suitably equipped tuition yacht exclusively for their party and we provide an instructor on board for the duration of the course. Mooring fees are payable by customers on Own Yacht Tuition..

Beach Clubs
Nikiana Beach Club is located on the east coast of the delightful island of Lefkas combining the charm of an island with the convenience of being connected to the mainland by a causway. This small and perfectly formed beach front complex has 32 rooms, a fresh water swimming pool and a very good family run taverna in a quiet location with stunning scenery. The beach is sand and shingle and it’s a simple, traditional style property . Unlimited Sailing, Windsurfing and other watersports are included.
The Nikiana Beack Club occupies an idyllic setting along a short single track road, just two minutes walk from the village centre and built around a courtyard, only yards from the long sand and shingle beach, shaded by olive trees. The setting is truly idyllic with a stunning mountain backdrop, the mountains of the mainland, as well as the islands of Meganissi, Kalamos and Skorpios clearly visible across the inland sea.Most of the rooms overlook the beach and the fresh water swimming pool which is directly adjacent to the beach bar and taverna. The taverna and bar are perfectly positioned on a shaded terrace directly overlooking the beach and beautiful Nikiana Bay. The pool bar, which is open all day, serves refreshing cocktails, juices, soft drinks and ice creams.
Watersport Activities
Nikiana Beach Club takes a lot of pride in the Water sports activities on offer. All the equipment is free to use. Free tuition options are available, too, including intros and regattas plus a great list of additional RYA Courses.
